Avtek 3D Printer!
When introducing the first 3D printer to our offer, we thought for a long time about what features of this type of device would be crucial for us if we were to decide to buy a 3D printer. Finally, we decided to focus on
- Ease of use
- Versatility
- Safety
Item 1. Keeping in mind the Future Laboratories program, the printer had to be ready for use also in school, during various lessons and extracurricular activities. The assumption was always that anyone could use the printer, even without extensive and advanced technical knowledge.
After taking the printer out of the packaging, preparation for the first start-up will not take more than a dozen minutes because it is enough to:
- Remove bubble wrap, peel off protective tapes
- Connect the printer to the power supply
- Remove the filler inside the printer (as per the recommendations described in the QSG)
- Load filament (detailed description in QSG)
- Download Avtek Slicer software
- Download a ready-made model from thousands of free models available on the internet
- Process the selected model through Avtek Slicer
- Using Wi-Fi, Ethernet cable, or a USB drive, send the file to the printer and start printing
Item 2. Aware that the main users of the Avtek CreoCube 3D printer will be students and teachers, we made sure that both younger and older students could use the printer:
- Both the printer menu and the slicer are available in Polish language version
- The built-in camera allows for remote print preview without having to get up from your desk, which can be particularly useful during lessons – the teacher maintains full control over the correctness of the printing process without having to get up from their desk
- Two interchangeable nozzles significantly expand the range of filaments that the printer can use. In addition to basic filaments such as PLA, ABS, Avtek CreoCube 3D can prepare prints based on filaments such as PETG/PLA-CF/ PETG-CF
- Compact size means that finding space to place the printer is not a problem, even in a space as limited as a classroom.
Item 3. User safety, including students, was particularly important to us, hence:
- The working chamber is enclosed, making it safe even in an environment with younger children. No direct access to the hot nozzle, bed, or moving parts guarantees the teacher comfort in conducting classes without worrying about the students.
- Enclosed filament feeder – prevents fingers from being inserted into the mechanism or clothing fragments from getting caught in moving parts.
