Avtek monitor certified by Neets

Good news has reached us from Denmark. Neets – a manufacturer of intuitive control systems, has certified Avtek Pro series monitors, recognizing them as compatible with its devices.

What does this mean in practice? Well, anyone who wants to configure a Neets control system and an Avtek monitor in a single installation, for example by creating a modern, automated conference room, will have a much easier task and save a lot of time.

Neets technicians have created dedicated drivers for Avtek monitors, which are available in the Project Designer 1.7 software database, so when designing a system, you won’t need to create drivers yourself. Control is available via the RS232 protocol – just connect the Neets unit to the Avtek monitor using an RS232 cable and you can remotely manage the device.

The driver was created from scratch and tested by the Neets team, ensuring proper functionality. What’s more, the Danes liked the Avtek monitor so much that they bought the unit we sent for driver development. From now on, visitors to the Neets conference room can admire this view:

By the way, we are pleased to announce that a new version of the Project Designer software, numbered 1.7, is now available. In addition to a number of minor fixes, you can find quite a few interesting new features:

· the ability to easily swap devices in projects,

· sample projects available from the new project creation menu,

· support for Relay-4 and Relay-8 in the Echo Plus device (via LAN),

· the option to password-protect the project,

· auto-saving of projects during editing,

· full support for Windows 10,

Neets Project Designer is user-friendly software used to create, configure, and upload projects to Neets control systems. The new version is another step forward, making the creation of even advanced projects an activity that requires no programming skills and saves a huge amount of time compared to other manufacturers’ configurators.
