NovoStage. A new level of wireless communication.

We often say that we live in a constantly changing world. However, the last two years of the pandemic have taken this statement to an absolute extreme, and changes are coming so fast that the only skill that matters has become adaptation. Vivitek, adapting to the demands of the current market, has added a new product to its versatile solutions, which is NovoStage. It is software that transforms any Windows™ 10 device into a wireless collaboration platform. All you need to run it is a valid license and any device with the aforementioned system. Laptops of all sizes and large-format monitors will work great.

After a simple installation process, NovoStage can receive content in one of four ways: via NovoConnect software, Airplay, LauncherPlus/LauncherOne, or the Vivitek website www.launchnovo.com.

The multitude of connection methods allows for maximum flexibility and user convenience, without the need for additional hardware or cables.

NovoStage operates on the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) principle, meaning each participant can connect to a session using their own device, be it a phone, laptop, or tablet. Simply download the free NovoConnect App and join the session using the meeting ID, QR code, room name, proximity device function, or IP address.

NovoStage can receive content from any device or operating system and display up to 4 participants simultaneously on the main screen.

It facilitates collaboration with a complete suite of features, such as sending screenshots and sharing files via the NovoConnect app. The moderator function allows the presenter to oversee the meeting and control the displayed content.

Optionally, for monitors from the NovoTouch series, which are large-format displays with interactive functionality, Vivitek offers the OPS VKW30-i7 module for the Windows environment. With this additional device, touch panels for teamwork can be used wirelessly. A key advantage of the software is the ability to connect a camera. This way, users can participate in hybrid meetings and display camera feeds while conducting seminars or workshops, for example. Novostage will also find wide application in the educational environment. All that is needed is for the display in the classroom to be equipped with an OPS slot. NovoStage is compatible with learning management software such as Google G Suite or Blackboard.

As Vivitek prioritizes data protection and network security across all its product lines, NovoStage also ensures a high level of security. All devices during a session are connected to the same network and transmit data packets in real-time via TCP transmission to the main display. Data packet transmission is encrypted using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with a 256-bit encryption algorithm. This guarantees the user that their data is protected against unauthorized access at the highest global security standard. Additionally, Novostage is fully compliant with DLP policy and GDPR guidelines. This particularly applies to the use of plug-and-play launchers utilizing the USB port on a laptop. Large corporations or banks have strict data loss prevention and IT security policies that block USB ports for mass storage devices and do not allow wireless presentation solutions based on the corporate network. The LauncherOne model has been specifically designed for these requirements, featuring HID security that allows for management and deployment by IT/security services.

Like all Vivitek products, it is also compliant with ISO 27001 – the international standard for information security management. This provides peace of mind for both users and IT network managers.

NovoStage is the answer to the rapidly evolving challenges and needs related to wireless collaboration. In both companies and educational institutions, remote work has necessitated the introduction of more IT innovations in the field of collaboration. This easy-to-deploy software offers the necessary simplicity and ease of use, combined with the highest level of security, to meet the demands of modern meetings.
