ViDiS Brands – A Guide to ISE 2017
Soon, one of the world’s largest AV industry trade shows – Integrated Systems Europe – will begin in Amsterdam. This is a unique opportunity to see hundreds of exhibitors in one place, presenting the best and latest in their offerings. There will also be brands you know from the ViDiS portfolio.
ISE will take place from February 7th to 10th in Amsterdam at the massive RAI convention complex. This year, the expected number of exhibitors reaches a staggering 1,100. For AV professionals, ISE is primarily a great opportunity to see the direction in which the AV market is developing and what is occupying the market giants: Sony, Samsung, LG, Huawei, or Panasonic. It is also a meeting place where you can meet directly with manufacturers and business partners.
For those who haven’t registered yet: we have coupons available for free registration – just let us know, and we’ll be happy to share! PS. The coupons were provided to us by the gold partner of ISE – Vivitek.
Among the exhibitors at ISE, our brands will be present, so we wanted to provide you with a short guide where you will find the following information:
- which ViDiS brands will be exhibiting
- where their stands are located
- why it is worth visiting them.
A detailed map of the trade show can be found on the ISE website -> just enter the stand number or brand name to find the exact location.
For those who will not be in Amsterdam, we will prepare special material after the show, summarizing the most interesting novelties. For now, we invite you to our guide and to watch the previous report.

-
head-to-head comparisons with the competition
One of the most recognizable brands in the ViDiS offer will show the entire cross-section of its current Laser&LED projector range. Starting from the budget XJ-V2 to the multimedia powerhouse XJ-F210WN. Novelties in the higher brightness segment are also expected (rumors suggest 5000 ANSI lm), but Casio tries to keep everything secret to surprise at ISE. So we will learn the details on the spot.

Why it’s worth it:

New control systems
-
Full offer in operation
-
Neets specialists on site
-
…Dumle!
The Danish manufacturer of control systems will certainly show the new TanGo control unit, which is positioned between the keypad-based Sierra II and the rack-based Alfa II system. From leaks, we also know that we have a chance to see some interesting novelties, e.g., a touch tablet for the graphical interface. A visit to the Neets stand is also a rare opportunity to consult technical problems or unusual customer requirements directly with the technical staff – which will allow clearing up any doubts. And of course, for dessert, Dumle, which is a trademark of Neets.
Qomo – education
where:
13-C80
Why it’s worth it:
-
New monitors (new series) and control consoles
-
Flow!Works PRO 2.0 – the latest software for boards and monitors
This year, Qomo is focusing on monitors, and they will be the backbone of the stand. From the information we received, the new Journey series with built-in Android will debut at ISE, which will have a convenient interface adapted for operating interactive monitors. Accessories for interactive boards will also debut – an active pen and an optional interactive shelf offering not only color changes but also freely configurable shortcut buttons. Besides that, there will be QClicks (voting systems) and visualizers, which Qomo sells mainly in the United States.
CTOUCH – interactive monitors
where:
AV News Business Lounge – Elicium Centre (hall 13)
Why it’s worth it:
-
New CTOUCH accessories for business meetings
-
Lexinus in a new version
After last year’s absence at ISE, CTOUCH returns to the salons! Debuting in 2016, the Laser Air + Series, which we have already described, turned out to be an almost complete monitor, great especially in the audio sphere thanks to JBL speakers. At ISE, we will be able to see these and other monitors from the Dutch manufacturer in action. CTOUCH co-creates the stand together with the industry press – AV News and offers demonstrations where you will be able to see the brand’s product plans for 2017. As usual, we will also receive a package of valuable market information about trends and monitor sales in Europe.
Smart Metals – mounting accessories
where:
11-F115
Why it’s worth it:
-
Full Smart Metals offer in one place
-
Novelties in the form of accessories for monitors and projectors
One of the largest manufacturers of mounting accessories in Europe is known in Poland primarily for very solid mobile stands for interactive monitors. However, this is only part of the offer, which also includes accessories for mounting projectors, video walls, interactive boards, or interesting solutions for mounting large-format monitors. New products will include multifunctional monitor carts, a new series of ceiling mounts for projectors and monitors. It will also be possible to see monitor enclosures and special cages for stacking installation projectors in action.
Revolabs – audio systems
where:
11-D113
Why it’s worth it:
-
Revo’s debut at the trade show
-
New conference phones
The American company Revolabs, which deals with premium audio products for business, will appear in Amsterdam once again to promote its products in Europe. In addition to the conference phones and microphone systems known from the current offer, we will see several novelties that Revolabs does not want to reveal at this stage. From official announcements, we can conclude that the main product will be a wireless microphone system, the 2-channel Executive Elite. At the stand, it will also be possible to see Revolabs products in action with solutions from technology partners such as Google, Sonic Foundry, Zoom, and BlueJeans.
ViewSonic – projectors and monitors
where:
11-A132
Why it’s worth it:
-
First 4K projectors
-
Laser projectors in a new version
-
Installation projectors without interchangeable lens PRO9000
The brand originating from the USA is a regular exhibitor at ISE. At the stand, it will be possible to see the full offer, including professional LCD monitors or interactive monitors, which are less popular in Poland. For a long time, ViewSonic has been intensively developing its offer of home cinema projectors, and here we can expect the biggest influx of novelties. An absolute hit will also be the first projector with 4K resolution, which is competitively priced compared to solutions currently on the market.
Vivitek – projectors and Novo systems
where:
5-R55
Why it’s worth it:
-
New installation projectors
-
New versions of Novo systems
-
Qumi Full HD!
-
Party at the stand
This year, Vivitek became a gold partner of ISE, which leads us to believe that they are preparing some really interesting novelties. From the information we received (and which we can reveal 😉 ), it appears that Vivitek will show new laser projectors, which will be an extension of the current offer (we are talking about the sensational DU8090Z with a brightness of 8k ANSI lm). Subsequent products will also debut in the category of projector accessories – the Novo series. At the stand, we will see, among others, NovoDS and NovoPro in a new version. For fans of the Qumi series, we have very good news – a model with a brightness of 1000 ANSI lm and native Full HD resolution will appear!
However, that’s not all! Vivitek, according to its custom, is organizing a party at its stand! As a distributor, we have the pleasure to invite you to the “Booth Party” which will take place on February 8th (Wednesday) at 4 PM at the Vivitek stand. There will be music, alcohol, and the ViDiS crew! We invite you to contact us to reserve a spot. You can also fill out the form on the Vivitek website.
Lumens – visualizers and PTZ cameras
where:
1-H127
Why it’s worth it:
-
New PTZ camera with a 9-megapixel sensor and 4K resolution
-
New visualizers
For a long time, the Taiwanese company Lumens has been focusing on advanced PTZ cameras. These products compete in quality directly with Sony solutions while positioning themselves a shelf lower in price. This year, the VC-A70H 4K PTZ will debut – a new camera offering 4K resolution and transmission via the HDBase-T interface over a distance of up to 70 meters. Other parameters include 12x optical zoom and image recording without noise even in poorly lit rooms. The product is intended for broadcasting, video conferencing, and recording, e.g., lectures.
Thank you for reading and we wish you a successful trade show! See you at one of the many stands at the ISE trade show in Amsterdam!
